Synopsis[]

1994 VHS[]

Home Alone superstar Macaulay Culkin is a crafty kid out to reform his wayward father (Ted Danson, Three Man and a Baby, "Cheers") in this exuberantly zany, heartwarming comedy for the whole family.

Determined to go straight after one final heist, small-time crook Ray Gleason (Danson) successfully swipes a million-dollar stash of rare coins with the help of two klutzy cohorts (Saul Rubinek and Gailard Sartain). But Ray's plans hit a snag when his long-neglected son Timmy (Culkin) arrives for a surprise visit, steals the stolen loot and announces he'll give it back on one condition: that Ray do time... as a dad!

Blackmailed into parenthood, Ray reluctantly begins a whirlwind schedule of father-son outings, as his friends find themselves fending off an onslaught of hilarious booby traps. Sparkling with love, larceny and laughter, this delightful family fare is "a wonderfully entertaining film... Kids will squeal with delight" (Paul Wunder, WBAI Radio).

1995-1996 VHS[]

Macaulay Culkin (Richie Rich) is a clever kid out to reform his wayward father (Ted Danson, Three Men And A Baby, "Cheers") in this exuberantly zany, heartwarming comedy for the whole family. Sparkling with love, larceny and laughter, this "wonderfully entertaining film" is delightful family fare... "Kids will squeal with delight" (Paul Wunder, WBAI Radio).

When he is dropped off at the home of Ray Gleason (Danson), the father he hasn't seen in years, Timmy (Culkin) hopes that they'll be able to spend some time together. Unfortunately, that's not what Dad has in mind. Involved in the get-rich-quick scheme of a lifetime, Ray and two klutzy cohorts are illegally paving the road to financial bliss... that is, until Timmy steps into their path. Recognizing that only he can set his father straight, this inventive kid creatively thwarts their plan and makes Ray do time... as a dad.
