The Fox and the Hound (1994 VHS)

The Fox and the Hound was actually re-released in theaters on March 25, 1988 six years before this VHS release (March 4, 1994). After all the 1992 prints of Dumbo, Alice in Wonderland, The Sword in the Stone and Robin Hood were discontinued along with Pinocchio and Aladdin, The Fox and the Hound was the only Walt Disney Classics title left in stock until April 30, 1995 as the brand was replaced by the Walt Disney Masterpiece Collection for 1994.

Synopsis

Walt Disney Studios proudly presents its 24th full-length animated film, The Fox and the Hound -- hailed as "vintage Disney" by the Washington Post. This highly acclaimed classic blends vibrant animation and breathtaking action to tell the story of two best friends who didn't know they were supposed to be enemies. The fun and adventure begin when a lonely widow adopts an orphaned fox cub named Tod. The mischievous fox soon meets up with Copper, an adorable hound puppy. As the innocent pair play and frolic in the forest, the become inseparable friends.
